About Us
The New Jersey State League of Municipalities is a voluntary association created to help communities do a better job of self-government through pooling information resources and brainpower. It is authorized by State Statute, and since 1915 has been serving local officials throughout the Garden State. All 564 municipalities are members of the League. Over 560 mayors and 13,000 elected and appointed officials of member municipalities are entitled to all of the services and privileges of the League.

Executive Board
The League's Executive Board serves as the policy setting body in the work of the representing the state's 564 Municipal governments. Sharing their time, their efforts, and their knowledge, they continually strive to improve Municipal government throughout the Garden State.

Boards & Committees
The League's Trenton staff carries out a full agenda of activities, translating League policy objective on many fronts. But policy itself is made by more than 250 mayors, other elected officials, and appointed officials who serve on numerous standing and ad hoc committees.
