We all face the challenge of navigating the slippery slope of ethical dilemmas endemic in the 21st century and creating and maintaining an ethical culture. Ethics for those in government reaches far beyond the Local Government Ethics Laws. This seminar will review the various New Jersey Ethics Statutes and recent case law. In addition, the seminar will address the “ethics” of harassment, discrimination, personnel restrictions and requirements, social media, enhanced conflicts of interest scrutiny, “green” philosophies, and other “ripped from the headlines” topics.
