Legal Notice Extension to be Considered by Legislative Committees 

On Thursday, the Senate and Assembly Judiciary Committees are both scheduled to consider legislation that extends current public notice and legal advertising guidance through the end of the year. The temporary measure enacted in December expires on March 1.

Combined Property Tax Relief Application Available  

The Division of Taxation has created a single application form for the Senior Freeze, ANCHOR, and Stay NJ programs for residents 65 and over, or those collecting Social Security Disability benefits.

Bill to Establish Heat-Stress Standard Scheduled  

On Thursday, the Assembly Labor Committee is scheduled to consider A-5022 which establishes “Occupational Heat-Related Illness and Injury Prevention Program” and occupational heat stress standard in the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

Governor Murphy to Deliver FY26 State Budget Address

Inflatable Rides and Insurance Liabilities for Municipalities 

The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) has issued a Notice of Use of Non-Permitted inflatable amusement rides and insurance liabilities for New Jersey residents, townships, and school districts.

State Announces Wildfire Resources 

Recognizing New Jersey’s wildfire threats, the Murphy Administration launched NJ Wildfire SMART last week, a series of actions that emphasize steps and information resources for reducing wildfire risk and spread.
