Weekly Roundup

We look forward to seeing you next week in Atlantic City at the Annual New Jersey League of Municipalities Conference. Since most of the League staff will be in Atlantic City starting Monday, there will be no Weekly Roundup next Friday, November 22, or on Friday, November 29, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Any urgent or timely alerts will be sent via a Daily Update. The next Weekly Roundup will go out on Friday, December 6.

State Elevates Drought Watch Status to Drought Warning

The NJDEP has issued an Administrative Order declaring a Drought Warning across the state. The Order grants NJDEP expanded authority to manage water systems, including directing water transfers and controlling reservoir releases.
