This webinar will cover the basics involved in collective negotiations with civilian and law enforcement bargaining units. Topics to be discussed include the process of negotiations, preparation for negotiations, the scope of negotiations, impasse procedures including mediation, fact finding, and interest arbitration for law enforcement bargaining units.

The webinar will also address current topics in labor law including, but not limited to health insurance, wage and hour issues, representation issues and other timely topics.

NJLM's Local Government Leadership Program

Earn Credits for the Local Government Leadership Program

The Local Government Leadership Program (LGLP) recognizes Elected Governing Body Members who complete additional training and advocacy. The program has three tiers; Municipal Leader, Municipal Innovator, Municipal Pioneer. Upon earning the necessary points, elected officials are awarded one of these tiers and recognized during the Annual League Conference at the Orientation Session in Atlantic City.
