CSSR Announces Relaunch of Brownfield Development Area Program

Contaminated Site Remediation and Redevelopment (CSSR) has announced the relaunching of the Brownfield Development Area (BDA) Program and is accepting applications for new BDA designations through April 30, 2024.

NJDEP Releases Model Tree Removal/Replacement Ordinance

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has released a model tree removal/replacement ordinance. In addition, the NJDEP Municipal Stormwater Program has extended the due date to adopt an ordinance to May 1, 2024.

Green Acres Grant Funding Opportunity Now Open for Municipalities

The Green Acres Program has announced the opening of the 2024 funding round, allowing municipalities to apply for Green Acres grants and loans. The application deadline is February 7, 2024.

Deadline to Obligate ARP SLFRF Funds Nears One-Year Countdown

The American Rescue Plan State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds must be obligated by December 31, 2024, or returned to U.S. Treasury.

BPU Opens Broadband Access and Deployment Plan to Public Comment

The Office of Broadband Connectivity (OBC) within the Board of Public Utilities (BPU) has published its draft Broadband, Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) implementation plan and is accepting public comments until November 29.
