Governor Conditionally Vetoes 20 and Out Legislation

Governor Murphy conditionally vetoed legislation that would permit police and fire employees to retire after 20 years of service, regardless of age, with a retirement benefit of 50% of final compensation.

DCA Announces Lead Grant Assistance Program 

DCA has announced the launch of the $7 million Lead Grant Assistance Program (LGAP) to assist municipalities conduct inspections for lead-based paint hazards in residential housing built prior to 1978, required under P.L. 2021, c. 182.

NLC Offering Grant Bootcamps     

The National League of Cities (NLC), the League’s federal partner, is offering a bootcamp series focused on additional funding opportunities in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
