Deadline Approaching to Participate in Latest Opioid Settlement

Eligible municipalities should take note of the April 18 deadline to sign on to the latest national opioid settlement. The latest settlements with Teva, Allergan, Walgreens, Walmart, and CVS are separate and distinct from the settlements signed in 2021.

20 and Out Legislation On Governor’s Desk

On Thursday, the full Assembly unanimously approved A-4498/S-3090, which provides police and fire a retirement allowance after 20 years of service regardless of age. The bill is now on the Governor’s desk.
