Creating and approving a feasible budget is one of the most important tasks of an Elected Official. It is also one of the most complex and time-consuming tasks. To aid in this endeavor, the League has created a special half-day program geared towards Elected Officials to help them in understanding the Municipal Budgeting Process.

COVID-19 may force us to alter this program to meet Health Guidelines. Keep checking the League website for more details.

d. 29th Annual Mayors Legislative Day

Friday, April 16, 2021
8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The State House Annex
Committee Room 4
West State Street
Trenton, New Jersey

The Mayors' Legislative Day is a unique occasion for local leaders to interact with individuals who are responsible for setting the agenda for the Covid-19 pandemic, Property Tax Reform, Affordable Housing, Pension and Health Benefits Reform, Transportation, and Utility Issues. It is also a great way to hear, first hand, about the State’s legislative agenda from Administration officials and key members of the Senate and Assembly. Following the Panel Discussion and Hall of Fame Inductees Ceremony, local leaders will have an opportunity to ask State Leaders questions that directly impact their municipalities.

Covid-19 may force us to alter this program to meet Health Guidelines. Keep checking the League website for more details.
