Welcome to the 105th Annual Conference-Presented Virtually!
The NJLM Virtual Conference starts today, but it’s not too late to register and attend! Consider the following when planning your day:
Start the Conference with welcome videos by League President Jim Perry and NJLM Executive Director Michael Cerra.
Kick off your day with a visit to the Exhibit Hall, which opens for live interaction at 8 a.m.
Are you new to the League? New to the Conference, virtual or not? Attend the League Conference Orientation to meet the League’s leadership, learn the policy, process, and what to expect at the Virtual Conference and beyond at 9 a.m.
The Liquor License Reforms Chatroom at 10 a.m. will discuss the topic with moderator South Orange Village President Sheena Collum and attendees. Following the chat, NJ Assemblyman Joe Danielsen and his fellow panelists will speak at the Liquor Licensing Amid the Pandemic session at 11 a.m.
DLGS Director Melanie R. Walter, Esq., will provide a division update at 1:30 p.m. NJ Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick will provide a touch of levity at the Laughter & Leadership: What We Need in a Time of Crisis session, also at 1:30 p.m.
Don’t miss having your voice heard at the League Resolutions Committee meeting at 3 p.m. Municipal officials are encouraged to attend and comment upon proposed resolutions. Only members of the committee may vote at the committee meeting.
And at 3:15 p.m., Assemblywoman Angela McKnight joins New Jersey’s Urban Mayors for Safer Communities: New Jersey’s Roadmap to Collective Justice. In the same time block, COVID-inspired strategies will be covered in the session Continuing Communication During a Crisis.
