II. Elected Officials Hall of Fame

Recognizing Service

Induction into the Mayors’ Hall of Fame or the Elected Officials’ Hall of Fame recognizes municipal officials who have selflessly guided their communities through the good times and troubled times with little recognition of their sacrifice. This token of appreciation will shine a light on these pillars in our communities and hold them up as an example of civic pride for all citizens to emulate.

Elected Officials Hall of Fame

The New Jersey State League of Municipalities inaugurated the Elected Officials Hall of Fame during the Seventh Annual Mayors Legislative Day January 27, 1999, at the State House Annex in Trenton. The Elected Officials Hall of Fame will shine a light on these pillars in our communities and hold them up as an example of civic pride for all citizens to emulate.

The criteria include:

• You must be governing body members, active or retired.
• You must have served 20 years in elected municipal office.
