I. Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) Program for State and Local Municipalities

 
This Friday, May 29 is the deadline to apply for the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) Program for state and local municipalities identified as eligible for funding under the 2019 State and Local Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance (JAG) Program.
 
If a locality is not listed as eligible under the JAG program, they can contact the state administering agency to learn about possible sources of funding from the state’s received allocation.

II. New Jersey Brownfields Assistance Center @ NJIT

 
New Jersey Institute of Technology has created the New Jersey Brownfields Assistance Center @ NJIT. The Center provides FREE assistance to NJ municipalities and counties that are pursuing brownfields cleanup and reuse.

III. Rutgers Eagleton Institute Session


Protecting the Ballot During COVID-19, Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:00am

The MEL Safety Director’s office has created a central repository on the NJ MEL website for updated COVID-19 information specific to municipal operations, including several bulletins addressing specific subject areas during the COVID-19 pandemic, and that information may be found at NJ MEL website.
