CSSR Announces Relaunch of Brownfield Development Area Program

Contaminated Site Remediation and Redevelopment (CSSR) has announced the relaunching of the Brownfield Development Area (BDA) Program.

Under the BDA approach, the CSSR’s Office of Brownfield & Community Revitalization works with select communities affected by multiple brownfield sites to design and implement remediation and reuse plans for these sites simultaneously. The BDA approach enables remediation and reuse to occur in a coordinated fashion.

The Office of Brownfield & Community Revitalization is accepting applications for new BDA designations through April 30, 2024.

More information on the program can be found on the Office of Brownfield & Community Revitalization’s website.
