Municipalities are required to submit their 2023 Best Practices Inventory by Friday, November 3. The Department of Local Government Services (DLGS) has provided a Best Practice Inventory Instructions and FAQ Best Practices for precise directions and access information.
Should municipalities wish to appeal their Best Practices Inventory score, appeals must be submitted no later than Friday, October 27, 2023. Note that an appeal can only be lodged after the initial inventory has been submitted. To submit an appeal, please send an email to bestpractices@dca.nj.gov with the subject line “Best Practices Appeal.”
