The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG) Program will be hosting webinars about vouchers option, and the DOE technical assistance available to support eligible entities. All eligible entities are encouraged to attend. The webinars have been designed around commonly asked questions from the public and are sure to help navigate the application and project design process. They are open to the public and will be recorded and placed on the EECBG Program website. The upcoming webinars will be hosted on the Microsoft Teams platform:
- Voucher Program Webinar: Thursday, April 13 at 3 p.m. Learn about the voucher option for the EECBG Program. The webinar will provide insight on eligible uses, limitations, and the application process.
- Technical Assistance Webinar: May 4 at 3 p.m. Hear from DOE about the range of technical assistance available from DOE to manage EECBG Program awards and enhance their impacts.
As a reminder, the first deadline to apply for the EECBG Program is the Pre-Award Information Sheet, due on April 28 by email to eecbg@hq.doe.gov. The information provided regarding the decision to apply for a voucher or a grant in this document is non-binding. If you are pursuing the grant option, you will need a Unique Entity ID (UEI) number to submit this form. If you do not have one, please register on the System for Award Management (SAM). Please note that it can take three weeks to process the sam.gov application, so please apply early.
