Federal Budget Update

This week, the House and Senate passed a Continuing Resolution to fund the federal government through next Friday, December 23, and sent it to President Joe Biden for his signature. This allows them time to complete the federal budget next week. Had the funding extension not passed both chambers, the government would have shut down.
During the Lame Duck period, the Congress is considering a $1.7 trillion annual budget to fund all governmental departments. We will continue to monitor and provide you with updates.
