The Resilient NJ program, administered by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Office of Climate Resilience, is now accepting applications for regional climate resilience planning grants. Municipalities can form regional teams consisting of at least three neighboring municipalities and one community-based organization to develop Resilience Action Plans that address climate-related challenges, including flooding, extreme heat, and coastal impacts.
Grants of up to $300,000 will be awarded to selected teams to support planning efforts, technical assistance, and community engagement. Applications are due by October 14, 2025, and selected teams will be notified by November 21, 2025. Projects are expected to begin in early 2026.
To learn more, access application materials, or register for the informational webinar on September 3 from 2-3 p.m., visit the Resilient NJ program page.
