The FY 2026 Service Area Competition (SAC) grant from the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) is offering an opportunity for municipalities and public health entities to secure continued federal funding for primary care services in underserved areas. Eligible public or nonprofit organizations serving designated service areas are encouraged to apply.
Application deadlines vary and can be navigated through Grants.gov. Submissions are due between September 22 and November 10, 2025, and HRSA Electronic Handbooks (EHBs) submissions are due between October 22 and December 10, 2025. Applicants should consult the Service Area Announcement Table (SAAT), conduct strategic needs assessments, and ensure they have all materials.
