Municipalities can now access new federal support through the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) FY25 grant portfolio to tackle wildfire mitigation, restore natural habitats, and strengthen infrastructure.
Programs offer practical pathways to restore native ecosystems and protect urban green spaces, and advances climate adaptation and community preparedness. Cities are encouraged to conduct a cross-sector needs assessment, engage with local BLM field offices, and align proposals with both federal priorities and local planning tools.
