On Thursday, October 3 at noon, the League will host a Lunch & Learn webinar to provide an overview of the NJ Department of Environmental Protection’s (NJDEP) recently issued Resilient Environment and Landscape (REAL) Rules.
The proposed changes within the REAL rules would amend existing land resource protection rules including the Coastal Zone Management Rules, Freshwater Wetlands Protection Act, Flood Hazard Area Control Act, and Stormwater Management Rules. Many other rules that cross-reference those mentioned above would also be impacted.
The Lunch & Learn will provide an overview of the more than 1,000-page REAL rule proposal and examine some potential impacts the proposed changes would have on municipalities. This must-attend Lunch & Learn is free but advanced registration is required. A link to join will be sent out via email approximately one hour before the start of the program to all of those who have registered.
